about me
Personal bio:
My name is Jordan. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 20 to become a comedy writer. I became a nurse instead (LOL). I used to be known for jokes on Twitter. I even got a few mentions as “one of the funniest women on Twitter” by Mandatory, Huffington Post, and Buzzfeed! I recently got a shout out by an awesome project called WhoHaHa, an awesome project that puts a spotlight on funny women. While my free time still includes making jokes, I am also posting selfies on Instagram to show off my fatshion, and writing essays for this blog.
I want to change the world, but I will settle for making a few people laugh at some bad jokes and a story.
Professional bio:
Jordan is an oncology research nurse and fat femme writer. She uses her social media accounts to promote her writing and to make space for voices that go unheard, whether it’s through her own words or sharing their posts. Her mission is to educate people (the white community specifically) on social justice issues specifically surrounding systemic racism toward black folks, the continued oppression of black womxn, the importance of race in every discussion, and her LGBTQ+ community.
